The Bıdık 35 was designed specifically with the feeding habits of predatory fish in both freshwater and saltwater environments in mind. Its compact dimensions, low weight, and extremely slow sinking speed give it a unique advantage when targeting fish in shallow and structured areas.

In freshwater, its natural falling action imitates insects and small prey such as bees, grasshoppers, and frogs dropping from rocks, vegetation, or overhanging trees into the water. In saltwater, the same presentation can imitate natural prey such as mussels, crabs, and other small creatures falling from rocks.

With a diving range of just 0–20 cm, the Bıdık 35 is designed to minimize the risk of getting snagged around rocky, weedy, and structure-filled areas where these prey items are commonly found. Pausing during the retrieve allows the lure to slowly sink, creating a convincing falling-prey effect and giving fish more time to strike.
